PAVE is an independent, non-profit foundation funded through corporate, foundation and individual support. PAVE does not receive any government funding.

PAVE's efforts have received support from over 170 businesses, 65 foundations, and 1,000 individuals since 1992.

PAVE's revenue comes from a variety of sources, but the primary source is you: foundations, individuals and businesses who care about Milwaukee's educational future.

Thanks to interest income and other sources of revenue, no adminstrative costs are covered with contributions. 100% of your contribution goes directly to funding vital programs.

Where Does PAVE's Revenue Come From?

This graph shows the sources of PAVE’s revenue for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009.  PAVE's largest source of revenue comes from people like you – individuals, corporations and foundations – who are committed to making a difference in the education of Milwaukee’s youth.  Revenue is also generated from interest on cash and investments as well as other sources.

Where Does PAVE Invest its Resources?

This graph shows how the money you contribute and the money earned from cash and investments and other sources is used to support PAVE’s mission.  More information on each of the program areas – scholarships, urban school leadership and capacity building – may be found on other pages of this website. PAVE’s administrative costs are funded by using interest income and other sources of revenue. This means 100% of your contribution goes directly to funding programs.
