Quality Assessment Process
PAVE’s School Quality Initiative works to increase the number of schools that can demonstrate excellence in educating children from low-income families in Milwaukee. Choice and Charter programs offer low-income families access to more schools in Milwaukee, but currently there are not enough schools that successfully prepare students for higher education and the workforce.
PAVE's experience shows that successful schools have a fundamental capacity in four critical areas:

PAVE's Quality Assessment Process is not designed to turn around poor schools, or to "grade" schools on quality. Rather, it is used to identify opportunities for investment to leverage growth and significant change in schools serving low income students in the city of Milwaukee.
